About Swat Emerald
The Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been producing extraordinary emeralds for over 2,500 years. The Mughal emperors sourced their finest emeralds here, often having them inscribed with Persian poetry. Today, Swat emeralds rival Colombian quality at 30–60% lower prices, purely because the Western market has not yet caught up with what gemmologists have known for decades.
