Born from 50 Million Years of Fire
When the Indian subcontinent collided with Eurasia 50 million years ago, it did not just create the Himalayas. It created the geological conditions for some of the world's most extraordinary gemstones, compressed into the rock by forces vast beyond comprehension.
The miners of Swat Valley, Kohistan, and Azad Kashmir have known about these stones for centuries. The Mughal emperors knew. Yet for generations, Pakistan's gemstones have left the mountains undocumented, unbranded, and undervalued.
VERDAAN was founded on a single conviction: that a Swat emerald deserves the same recognition as a Colombian emerald. That a Kashmir ruby deserves to be spoken of with the same reverence as a Burmese ruby. That Pakistani gemstones deserve a brand worthy of what they are.

We source directly from certified Pakistani suppliers across Swat Valley, Kohistan, Azad Kashmir, Katlang in Mardan, and Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan. No middlemen. No ambiguity. Full supply chain documentation from mine to your door.
Every stone leaves our hands with a Certificate of Authenticity, full treatment disclosure, and a Stone Origin Card, a hand-illustrated map with the mine circled in gold and the geological story of your stone on the reverse. Because every stone has a story. VERDAAN tells it.
All VERDAAN Vedic stones are supplied with certification explicitly stating treatment status. Unheated (no-heat) certified stones are available for Jyotish prescriptions requiring untreated material. We understand that for Vedic use, the treatment status is not a detail, it is everything.
