Rough diamonds
Rough diamonds are traded only with a Kimberley Process certificate, the international scheme that keeps conflict diamonds out of the trade. Our listing system will not publish a natural rough diamond without its certificate number. Rough parcels are offered by size, colour and model, with videos and, for serious buyers, viewings or samples arranged by the Ragtrail trade desk.
[[CONFIRM: Every invoice for diamonds carries the World Diamond Council System of Warranties statement.]]
Polished diamonds
Polished diamonds are listed with their grading report from GIA, IGI, HRD or AGS, and the report number links straight to the laboratory's online checker. Colour runs from D to Z, clarity from Flawless to Included, and cut grade, polish, symmetry and fluorescence are shown on every listing. Search the shop by every one of the 4Cs.
Polished natural diamonds of 0.5 carat and above sold to buyers in the EU and other G7 countries come with the origin due-diligence records those countries require under their sanctions rules.
Laboratory-grown diamonds
Laboratory-grown diamonds, made by CVD or HPHT, are real diamond with the same chemistry and hardness as natural. They are always named laboratory-grown, in the title and the disclosure, as clearly as the word diamond, and they are never mixed with natural parcels. [[CONFIRM: Natural diamonds are screened for laboratory-grown material before sale.]]
